Default sony xplod drawing too much

it's blowing the onboard 30 amp fuse. Tried to hard wire it and of course the wire got very hot. Seems like it happens after the amp finishes its self-diagnostic.

I had it all apart and looked it over for bad grounds and broken solder joints. Any other suggestions? Think i can get sony to warrantee it?

Ever wonder why they never really named it Sony EXPLODE???

Does the amp go into protection after it does diagnostics? What exactly did you try to hardwire? The fuse?

Take it to a Sony Service Center, if you have proof of purchase with a date within the warranty time frame they should cover it, if not they charge a standard flat rate for repair.

Make sure the serial number isnt printed anywhere on the box like on that white sticker. That way when you take it back and the serial numbers dont match.....
