I've heard them with the likes of sony xplod, pioneer coax, kenwood coaxs and jensens at circuit city on rt 18, NJ.

For the price they seemed full sounding... and with decent power 35-40 watts rms they should sound fulfilling to a average listener who wants to upgrade from stock.

They are a very basic upgrade... Nothing special so don't expect too much out of them...

What's the best 2-way speaker for less than $50?

In that price range... your best bet would be to check out best buy and circuit city and see what sounds good to your ears...

pioneer, kenwood arent bad low budget speakers.
CDT classic slim coax's were going for $35 on ebay a few days back... I heard them at a local shop... they sounded decent.. with good midbass... you might wanna check those out as well..

ebay would be your best bet for some cheap coax's... you might get lucky and maybe get a pair of crystal, diamond, or even some used focals... always a chance
