Default Blown amp!!

My 760 xplod just blew:madfawk: ... so im tryin to figure out what I should get to power my 2 12'' Kicker Comp VR's.. Im thinkin about the kenwood 1000 watt amp.. I can get a deal on it at best buy cause i have hookups there... $180.. Tell me what you think!

Well, IMO Kenwoods suck, but f you can get it for $180 go for it.

Whats th RMS output on your speakers and your old amp?

my old amp pumped 300 into each sub, and each sub can handel 1000 watts if thats what ur askin

1. Kicker Comp VR's PEAK out at 1000 each, no way in hell could they handle that much juice.
2. No Kenwood amp could ever deliver 1000watts, and that includes going downhill, with the A/C off, with 100 amps of current and getting struck by lightning. Try more around 400 actual power from that amp. Kenwood loves to overexagerate for advertising...hey, it obviously works to some people...haha
3. Get a Fosgate, seeing that's the only thing Best Try carries that is of decent quality. Yes there is a difference between the Fosgate lines carried at BB and smaller shops.
