2004 OEM Radio Swap
I posted this on a few forums and got no answers. Maybe someone here knows the answer.
My 04 Accord LX radio has an aux input but is not XM ready. The EX models cane with a six cd changer that had a XM button and was XM ready. I just bought this OEM EX radio on eBay. First question. Is swapping my LX radio with the EX radio got to work? I then bought the OEM Honda XM receiver that plugs into the radio I just bought. Second question. Does someone know the model number of the wire that goes between the controller and the radio? Third question: Where is the OEM XM receiver mounted? Last Question: Think it will all work? Basicall I'm trying to convert a LX car to have a EX radio and maintain the original dash look.
