Instead of 2 12's one 15???

In my honda accord i think i just blew my 12's :( so i'm gonna have to get something else... i'm trying to decide between 2 12in mtx 4000 series subs or one 15 in Pioneer TS-W384DVC sub. Whichever i get will be powered by a kenwood 600 watt max amp (300 watt rms x 1...100 watt rms x 2). I was thinking about the one 15 cause my car is rattled too much by the 2 12's and one single 12 doesn't give me enough power. ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

if the 2 12's rattle your stuff too much that 15 is gonna be silly.... my buddy had a 15 in the back of his nissan truck and it cracked the snug top because it rattled so bad.

i agree w/ blackmagik, one 15'' will give you more shakes, rattles and and squeaks then 2 12''s. I have 2 12''s now and one day for kicks a friend hooked his 15'' up to my amp (after unhooking the 12s) and the 15 was rediculous. unless youre competing or desire boomy bass rather than crisp more-accurate bass, stick with the 12's

12's

how about 3 tens??

...and yeah 1 15 is deeeep bass. It's best for hard core southern rap, 2LIVEcrew, or smooth Jazz with a lot of Bass, cello, ect.....

the 15 will hit deeper, be more "boomy" than the 12's, but the 12's will sound better, I say stick with 12's.
