Car Alarm recommendations
I was originally quoted $250 installed for a basic code alarm....
now for the same price, and if I bought the alarm on my own...
1. What alarm would you suggest me getting
2. Where
3. Are there any sites that do comparisons?

Unless you're extremely knowlegdeable and handy with your car, I'd leave something like an alarm to the pro's.... I've installed car stereo in many cars and feel really comfortable doing so, but an alarm is something I haven't tried yet and really think should be left to someone who does it everyday.... That's my opinion....

yea, i was not going to install it myself... but if i knew what they were selling me, i could possibly buy the alarm somewhere else... then get a shop to install it.... if they quote me $250 installed. i could maybe get it cheaper and make the total cost as $200? ... thats what i'm tryin todo

I will be opening my shop hopefully this week in Manassas. I can install Viper, Clifford, or Alpine for you. We sell these installed only. If you buy an alarm elsewhere , I can install it for you also. Email me with whatever questions you have and I can try and get you into the right alarm.
