pioneer deh-p7400mp

how do u guys feel about the pioneer mp3 players especially this model. seems like a lot of ppl complain about the fact that it is quite slow. is it only slow in loading a disc or is it slow in loading every track? if anyone has this or any pioneer unit let me know how u like it. it could be slow but is it really really slow that it gets annoying?

i heard most mp3 decks have this problem... but best was JVC SH-707 or 909
they look hella nice too

but is the load time long and annoying or just a little?

I tested both the Alpine and Pioneer for mp3 load time. The Pioneer was noticably slower and if you're like me that's just not going to do. So I purchased the Alpine (7897) and it should be here next week! :D

what do u mean by noticable? is the 7894 transition time between tracks as fast as regular audio cds?

Noticably as in 2 seconds more...I'm not too sure about the 7894, maybe all the load times on the Alpines are the same.

i know that on audio cds the transition is barely noticeable and lag free. so ur saying, i have to press a button and wait like 3 seconds before i can hear anything? if i jump from track one to track 10 do i have to wait 30 secs or just 3 secs still?
