Default a couple questions

I have a 4 gauge wire going to a distro block and from there i have two 8 gauge wires goin to my amps. Here are my questions:

Are the 8 gauge wires fine? or should I also replace them with 4 gauge wires

Do i need a fuse between the battery and the distro block?

Thanks alot

what amps are you using ? it really depends how much power your system needs. You need a fuse from the battery to the distrobution block, from the distribution block, ther distro must have fuses in there as well and that goes to the amp. its simply

12inches or less from the battery (fused) -> distrobution block (fused) -> to amps

one amp is a 2 channel Alpine MRV-T303 and the other is a 5 channel Alpine MRA-F350. i know the 5 channel amp is a theater surround sound amp RMS 50x5 so i assume it doesnt need much power. Im not sure about the 2 channel amp though.

yea your good. Using 4gauge to 8gauge is fine. It would be good if you connected 8 gauge to the 5ch amp and a 4gauge to the 2channel since your punchin subs, the 2ch needs more current.
