Default 99-00 Civic OEM CD Player into 92-95

Hey,
Quick question putting a 99-00 civic radio into a 92-95 civic i know has been done many times. What all is needed? Just harness is it a simple radio swap? Any info would be appreciated thanx

you will need a harness, a dash kit for the 99-00 civic. make sure you take your time and remove the dash, if you pull to hard around the trim, it will break the clips.

You will NOT have to get a harness. It should be plug and play...no dash kit needed.

not plug and play 99+ use a smaller blue plug you need a adapter to go from the older white plug to the newer blue one metra sells the mateing plugs to make the adapter with or cut off your old plug and splice in the new ,you don't need a dash kit but might run into a problem mounting it down since the 99+ radio screws in from the sides where as the older ones are in the back.
