car amp question
Is this calculation correct for a car amp having total output for a medium amount of 13v considering you arent going to always get 12v to the amp nor 14v....so... 13v * 35a(fuse) = 455w total power and at 70% efficentcy would then be 318w.

Is it advisable to judge the output wattage by the fuse used on the amp itself since anyone can put any fuse with a high amp number just to say it can do high wattage?
Also don't amps have a different output current outside of what passes through the fuse first? In which case the total watts can't be judged by using the amps off the fuse.

well if some1 was really snake and put in bigger fuses to say the amp pushed more that what it could do, i wouldnt even use the amp. thats a fire hazard. also amps dont put "current" out to the speaker terminals. if you know what amp you have go to the website and download the specs for it. it will tell you exactly how much power RMS you can get out of it.
