94 Passport Keyless Entry Not Working
My keyless entry started working less and less about a year ago now it dosent work at all. I've tried changing the batteries in the remote and nothing. Is there a bad sensor or something?

its not a bad sensor. usually it all comes down to the remotes. i noticed with honda, the remotes crap out over the years, but if you take good care of it and put new GOOD batteries, it should last a while. well does it still work at all or sometimes?

It hadn't been working at all for about 2 months then one day I switched out the battery and it work for the rest of the day. Now nothing again. I'm thinking that could've just been a fluke because I wasn't even trying before. I guess I could try another brand new battery. The new battery that i put in a few weeks ago was sittting in my draw for a while.

try this
open up the battery check out the battery contacts, bend them toward the battery a little, or put a small piece of carboard in there to press the metal contacts toward the battery better its a fairly common problem for the battery contacts to slowly get bent away from the battery, causing exactly what you are talking about good luck, hope it works |

You are the man! That was exactly the problem. I had to bend the coil contact over a little and it had some green deposite built up on the end of it that I cleaned off.
Thanks, Nick |
if you see rust or somthing or batt acid, scrape it clean then rebend your contact pads. it will be good for a while
