im not 100% sure if this car has a factory amp.
if so the amp might be bad...
your speakers might be blown also. or possible grounding out.
the best thing to do is check the resistance of all the speakers in the car. usuing a digital multi meter. ( using the Ohm's symbol. looks like a horse shoe).
check the OHMS from behind the radio first. if it reads less then 4ohm but not less thenless then 3 ohms the speakers are good. more then 8 ohms and chances are they are shot.
if behind the radio they read between 0-3 ohms go to the speaker directly and check it right from the speaker terminal. (use above ohm reading for refrence)
good luck.

the car does come with a factory amp. from what i know factory amps never go bad. its a really rare chance. Since she is a gal, the best bet is to bring it to a car audio shop in ur area and let them check it out. I only had a problem on an accord same year, but the problem with the guys navi was a really bad loose connection at the back that fried out his navi really bad. good thing the car was recalled to fix occuring problems. Well Nights6789, u canprobe with a DMM (digital multimeter) and see if speakers do show lower than 4 ohms. just follow mr22na.

It really crazy that im having the same problem with a new navi system put in. I did ask them once i read ya comments about the amps and also the ohms on the speakers and everything works great they said but the big problem is the navi. I'll keep yall posted. thanx!
