Default civic, Lower dash radio install

I plan to install my pioneer deck in the lower slot, I want to keep my factory radio with keyless entry in the factory position right where it is, but when im driving at night the front stays lit up yellow even when off, can i dissconnect the illumination wire or will that mess up my dome lights and stuff?

thanks

just put your pioneer were it suposed to be...

put the honda radio behind the dash or under the pass side seat

do a search
i posted pics and explained what wires need to go to the stock radio for this installation in another thread in the car audio section of this forum a while ago

come back with any particular questions you may have

i prefer this install as to having the stock hu behind the dash since it gives me a permanent clock, stock look, and helps prevent theft, also my keyless entry goes out every once in a while and i need to reprogram my remote from the stock hu
