Type-R or Type-X REF
I can get Type-R 6.5 components for about $150 through work. Good deal, I can feed them 100 watts X 2 RMS out of my bridged Alpine 4ch. Now, I can get Alpine Type-X Reference level components from eBay for about $185 shipped. Seems to be a reputable seller, good feedback, power seller. What would you do?
I've bought tons of stuff from eBay, including speakers. No chance to buy any kind of extended warranty nor do I get a warranty from Alpine.
What would you do??

i say type r comps...with our % off they are a steal...hook them up to the Alpine amp that pushes 70watts and your golden...
i installed that set up into a Nissan frontier....WOW...
he went with 2 pairs of the type r comps.
it sounded real nice.
*and you know with the 4Y psp you can get new ones when ever you want or when ever they come out.

I'm already buying 20 sq/ft of eDead soon to add to my already large amount. I did the math, we get dynamat for about $2.60 a sq/ft. Ouch. Even with shipping, eDead comes out cheaper.
