Default How would I connect a battery terminal?

I know it's probably a stupid question with a simple answer but I have a battery terminal much like this one:

except it has two 4g outputs, and one 8g output.

I know the terminal is supposed to make connection to the battery easier, but I can't see how I can connect both the terminal & the regular car connection at the same time.

should I splice the cars connection into the terminal? or just scrap the terminal altogether?

THat wont take a ring connector like most cars have. You have to take the connector off and strip off the insulation

that's what I figured I'd have to do.
I think I'll have to scrap the terminal altogether.
The wires for the positive connection won't fit in the terminal. I'll just connect my wire right up to the current connection.

thanks for the fast response
