Default Power locks and alarm

I have been doing a lot of research about adding power door locks to my car. Its a 1991 acura integra ls. At the same time I also want to get a alarm. I was looking at the Clifford Matrix RSX50.5 for an alarm. And then I was searching for after market power door lock kits. And I had found this one http://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/...Code=W01-RF104 what I was wondering is if I get that kit and the alarm can I hook up the power door locks to my remote on my car alarm? Thanks in advanced for any help.

aftermarket door lock systems are typically a 5-wire setup. yes they can be connected to your alarm system for keyless entry.

if you are not concerned with having switch(es) installed somewhere within the interior, you would only need doorlock actuators instead of a kit. the actuators are also a 5-wire setup and would work with your alarm system transmitter.

the dei part number for the actuators are 524N. you can head down to any local shop or retail store that installs security systems and they should have actuators on hand.

if you are doing the install yourself, i would suggest that you are familiar with security installs and that you have a basic understanding of relays, as you will need to wire two relays together with the actuators, or use the dei doorlock relay that is provided with many of their keyless entry/security systems. *note: do not use the low current door lock wires from the brain, they do not provide enough current to work with the actuators, thus is why the relays are needed.

you will need an actuator for each door that you want to lock/unlock with remote.

if you dont want to do it yourself, head down to like best buy, they have a security/keyless entry system for like 230 bucks that includes free basic install.
