Default getting through the firewall

what would be the easiest way to get through the firewall on a 93 prelude with an 8 gauge wire? will I have to drill a new hole? everything I tried so far doesnt really work out.

8 gauge should be a breeze. You're not trying hard enough

find the ecu, trace it back to the firewall - that grommet will easily accept an 8 ga wire - I got a 0/1 through on my old civic

if it is an automatic then you can drill through the clutch-plate area on the firewall and use a plastic in the hole you drilled to keep the sharp edges from cutting into the power wire...

unless of coarse you can find a grommet to use.
