factory radio question 2000 civic lx

is it true that the factory radio controls the keyless entry???
if i wanted to install an aftermarket radio, guess i lose the keyless entry right?

you are in luck
1996-1998 civics have the keyless entry in the stock radio
99-00 have it in the dash somewhere
