Default stock deck in 1998 acura 1.6el-possible to install sub?

Hey, i just bought a 1998 acura 1.6el that came with a stock cd player. I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience installing a sub on the stock deck for this model or something similar. A friend of myn said a lot of stock decks dont have any sort of sub output on them. I dont have the money to buy a new deck and wont till i have the car all paid off. Anyone know anything about this?

I am not familiar with your particular deck, but for decks that dont have a sub output for them, you can use a line output converter. This basically taps into your rear speaker wires and uses them for a signal to go into the amp.

Most amps do. You're close, they're called high-level inputs.
