Ok ill just give you guys an idea of what i got here and see if you can peice it all together..

Sub: Kicker Solobaric S10L5:
Speaker Type: Passive
Nominal (RMS) Output Power: 450 Watt
Max Output Power: 900 Watt
Response Bandwidth: 24 - 100 Hz
Sensitivity: 86 dB
Additional Features: Dual voice coil

Amp: Planet Audio VX400D
CLASS D MonoBlock Power Amplifier
Max Power (2 Ohms) 600W X 1
RMS Power (2 Ohms) 350W X 1
RMS Power (4 Ohms) 200W X 1
Signal-to-Noise Ratio:100 db
Frequency Response: 25-250Hz

What do i all need as in an amp kit, and will these 2 work together? I got a sub box that says 2ohm output on the back, so i have to make my sub a 2ohm , but right now it is 4 ohm how would i change that? and will that work with the amp? BTW im new to audio stuff, i found a sweet site that shows pics on how to intall an amp so i think i could do that, just connecting it all together is the problem.

the sub is dual 2Ω vc... so final impedance is 1Ω or 4Ω. the amp is only 200W rms at 4Ω, which may not be enough to efficiently run the sub. :dunno:
