my right back speaker sounds rattaly. i didnt blow it but im thinking something is loose. when i "slap dat shit" (music), it rattles, but if i put my finger on the top dome funnel thingy (iono wat its called but it moves up and down kinda), theres no rattling. anyone know how i can fix this?

so the surrounding is still holding the cone to the speaker frame?

probably just replace it, unless you can verify that it's just not mounted properly. pics might help.

okay i see the problem. its like off half way. is it possible to just glue it back on?

you mean the surround is toast so the cone just moves all over?

i say try it and let us know. the speaker doesn't work now. you haven't lost anything if you screw it up more. either way you need to buy a new speaker, at least this way, you might fix it.

you can try gluing it... but it probably wont sound the same even after the glue.


but it wouldnt hurt :hsdunno:

hey guys, i super glued it. works like a charm! its back and sounding great again. no rattling sound
