Ive been searching everywhere and I cant seem to get a common answer, so id like some feedback to what speakers actually fit in the back of 98-02 accord coupes, crutchfield seems to be pretty unaccurate. I know there are some pioneers, kenwoods and some low level alpine that fit ok, if anyone is running anything else that doesnt require using spacers please shoot away, thanks.

perhaps it was an oversight on crutchfields site but they are extremely helpful.
If you search on their site they actually itemize what speakers fit in your car.

 

I know for a fact the list the kappa as a fitting speaker, and there is no way in hell a kappa fits back there. and the alpine type r also list as a fit and it scrapes every time you open the trunk. Im just trying to find the best speaker I can put back there with out spacing the rear deck lid.

 

My Fosgate components have about 1mm of clearance back there.
