Default 06 Honda Civic EX Navigation system wanted

Hi, New poster here, just bought a new Civic EX and was unable to get the car we wanted with the color we wanted with the nav system w/o special ordering, and waiting 3-4 months which we did not have the time to do.

Does anybody know where I can get a Honda Nav system for the 06 civic, and at a reasonable price????

I know that is asking quite a lot.

Thanks

that navi unit is basically just a stock clarion or eclipse unit. i forget which one. but it's just a regular double-din unit that you should be able to buy from most car audio stores. in all honesty, you probably should have just been a little flexible on color and allowed the dealer to dealer-trade for a navi car. the navi cars are $1800 more, which is just what the navi unit costs by itself. good luck. check out the webpages for eclipse and clarion and see if you can find the unit i'm talking about.

Default tan interior

Dude if you saw that tan interior, that is almost yellow, and you were going to spend 20,000 of your hard earned cash on a car, trust me you would not want it either.

But thanks for the info., you don't know any sites to get the actual honda one do you, as the eclipse, and the clarion are not the same units, although close, they would both require some customizing of the dash, but with the Honda one, it fits in perfectly.

And the manual transmission, was one of the reasons why we bought this car, we were between the tsx and civic, and decided for the more economical and with aftermarket leather kit, nearly as nice civic with the 5 speed manual instead of the 6 speed.

good choice. PLUS, the tsx runs on PREMIUM. they didn't tell you that at the lot, did they?
