Best Remote Start?
Looking for any suggestions on the best remote start and where to get it. I'll need one that handles manual transmissions for my Accord and would like to have one that is 2 way.
Thanks,
Todd

auto page has one that is 2 way but good luck trying to find someone to do it. they can lose their contract with the alarm company if they find out about installing in a manual.

its not the installation thats the problem, its quite simple actually. its the fact that if the car is left in gear, it will jump forward. and most remote starts will attempt to start the car 3 times in a row before exiting the remote start mode, so your car will jump forward or backward a good distance. just make sure its not in gear.

clutch bypass, google it. Theres one shit that is made for a murcielago... the remote has a 1.5" color lcd screen, and about 12 power functions. It comes with a second remote too (normal sized one). Its only about 800$ haha. I'll try and find it for you.

I'd like to see about the clutch by-pass. I got Clifford Remote Starter on my AT (very good I must add... and the that came with it also has a pager built into the remote that'll alert you upto 2 miles away if someone is breaking it... and where (e.i. windows, doors, etc)... It also gives off a warning at first if someone bumps your and will let you know of the warning, and if it's bumped a second time, it'll go into full siron.
Pretty nice, and with planning on switching to a manual, I'd hate to loose it... and, ya, I figured there would have to be a way to get around it on a manual, but a couple people told me there's NO WAY to do it.

i have a brand new python 881xp. made by the same company as viper (dei) but it is acutally a better alarm system than viper. it is a higher product line. its 500 at circuit city, but i will sell it for 325. it has remote start, and a bad ass alarm. start you car from two miles away and know if someone has triped your alarm system. it has an lcd screen on the remote. if you or anyone else is interested let me know. im willing to trade too.
