What makes the Civic easy to break into?
So I've read a lot of posts about how the Civic (I have a 97 LX) is easy to break into because of the windows or locks or something. What exactly is it that makes it easy to break into, and is there anything that I can do to make it tougher?

Relevance is irrelevant
It's mainly the way the doors are made. You can basically just pull the door apart with you hands. So if you have a slim jim and something to grip the window in order to force it down a little, you're in.

So is there anything you can do to prevent breakins or make it tougher? Like putting something in the door to "block" a slim jim from getting access to the lock/door release cable?
