Default I want to add stock OEM CD player?

I currently have a stock Cassette/AM/FM player in my 95 Teg SE. Right below it is a cubby hole. However, I was looking to buy, from ebay or whoever is offering up for sale, the stock Acura CD player (the one that has the acura logo on one corner, and the only button being the eject button). I know I can purchase a cd player but I really like the stock look.

My question however is the following. By whom are our stock stereos made? From what I have seen on some ebay descriptions, they are either Alpine or Pioneer. Do I need to check what mine is, or are they possibly interchangeable???

Please clue me in. Thanks guys.

You could swing by some salvage yards, but you'll probably have better luck on ebay. Crutchfield sells OEM CD players, if you don't mind paying for new.

I have a question, why is everyone so opposed to getting rid of their stock radios? I cannot wait to get my Alpine deck and do the full iPod integration. Makes everything so much easier as far as external amps and so on.

IMO I think that it makes the car look very clean as opposed to having those new flashy systems that look out of place in the dash. Anybody else agree with me???
