Apparently I (accidentally) hooked up the wire that should power the car's parking lights to the automatic seatbelts. So when the alarm would go off, instead of the lights flashing, the seatbelts went haywire going back and forth. Also, when I arm or disarm, it's supposed to flash once for disarm, twice for arming - the seatbelts would go back and forth once for disarm, twice for arming. I figured out the correct wire and fixed it, but it was pretty funny sight to see before I corrected it.

you could take this idea to all sorts of other goofy stuff. on the third gen preludes you could make the headlights pop up and down. i love it!
