I love it.
Both XM and Sirius now have $50 (some after rebate) models with everything you need to get started in the car.
The decision is still... WHICH ONE?

Digital radio is not too far off. You will get your local stations in much higher quality. The advantage of satellite radio over this is vastly improved variety. XM and Sirius are both great. The differences are things like sports: XM offers full baseball coverage whereas Sirius has football. There's probably other stuff that you will see if you compare programming lineups.

I got Sirius and it's great. I haven't turned on the CD or tuner since I got it. I paid one year, so I got one month free. After I got it, two weeks later we had it installed in my gf's car. Since I added her to my plan, her's was 50% off and I paid her's one year in advance. Although beware about paying the lifetime version for $400. It's only lifetime for that serial numbered tuner. So if that tuner goes out, the lifetime subscription goes with it.
