Default what amp should i get for this sub?

my friend just got a '92 S10 and just wants one sub in the back, so he wants this one audiobahn sub . he wants to get this amp audiobahn amp, he wants to know if its better to have more or less OHM's...

first of all.....that sub is dual 6OHM...weird impedance. so it must mate with an amp that would give the most power at 3OHM....or 12, but who does that with one sub.

that amp will give the most power @1OHM....so you will need to get a sub that will take 1000+watts at @1OHM....meaning you need to get a 1OHM SVC, or a 2OHM DVC if you want that amp.

more or less OHM dont mean an amp is better or worst...if they both match up...its all good.

yeah 6ohm is pretty strange... but like wiLL said, as long as your amp does the same ohms. (the amount of ohms is just the resistance; ohms law= V=IR where v is voltage, i is current, and r is resistance)
