Default sony xav a1 vs Sony xav 7w

Hi ya'll,

Im looking to purchase the Sony XAV A1 head unit but, Im a bit hesitant because im not sure if my current XM radio tuner will work with it.

I currently have the sony XAV 7w with the XT XM1 Xm tuner.
They sell a different xm tuner for this new sony radio and not sure if only that one is compatible or if the current one im using will work with it?

any one know.?

Maybe we just arent knowledgeable in XM :dunno:

Looks like Crutchfield sells both units. Give them a call and ask? They have very good customer service.
