i got around 3.8cf....yes double the size for 2 subs. dont forget the baffle in the middle.
|
this is the box the sales wanted to sell me.. too big for 2 subs if the recommended size is 1 cub ft.
|
oh yeah Cashis, how did you calculate that out?
|
im not cashis but....i forgot about the triangle first...so to find area...base X height X width.
12*15*32=5760 then find out the triangle: 5*15*32=2400/2=1200 add those two numbers... 5760+1200= 6960 cubic inches. convert that to cubic feet by 1728 (12*12*12). which is 4.03 cf. oppps my bad on my first number. :p anyway...the box is too big either way. |
ur formula looks weird
isn't this the formula for trapeoid, (top+base)heigh/2 and for volume in this case, we times the above number by 32? so it's like (12+17)15/2 and then convert that to cub ft? i just don't know how to convert it |
opps same number as 6960...but well it's too big
is there any genetic box that is 2 cub ft or it got to be custom? |
can you make it yourself? thatll be best IMO..
but im sure QLogic makes a box around 2 CF. |
