I am going to be putting my system into my new 05 honda civic coupe. I have a factory honda alarm and keyless entry. But before I dive into this I have read earlier models had a problem keeping that original honda alarm/keyless after replacing the factory head unit. I have already purchased a wiring harness adapter and they said nothing of this at the audio store.
Is this still a problem? I wanna keep my alram and keyless entry.

no problem for you. the radio model years were 96-98 that had the keyless/alarm in the radio.
