Default Sirius Satellite Radio Antenna

I bought a Kenwood CX-SR40 SIRIUS antenna that mounts to your vehicle's roof and has a magnetic base. Has anyone installed one of these antenna's on the rear deck by the third brake light? I would like to install it there rather then on the roof, but I'm not sure if I'll lose signal...please advise. Thanks

are you talking about inside the car? it should work, but it may not get good reception while driving around. your better off placing it on your trunk lid.

Alright then, I'll place it on the roof of the car, where the instruction manuel suggests. Thx

Installed tuner and antenna this weekend. I installed the antenna on the roof, was very simple...I'm enjoying Sirius thus far..
