XM Antenna
I want to run my XM antenna through my Rear window to the roof of my car.
What do i need to do/ have in order to run it through.
Do i need to go to a glass shop to get this setup done?

Why would you want to run it through the rear window? If you want to save yourself the hassle, just drill a hole in the roof and run it through that. If you drill a hole in the window, you will run into stress risers that could crack the window down the road.

you could have the rear window removed and then run the cable and have the window glued back in with the antenna running through the seal. I just wouldn't go through the hassle especially since the antenna works fine on the rear deck or even the dash without having anything on the exterior of the car.

Best bet is to get a magnetic mount antenna and stick it to the top of your trunk lid. This is a perfect spot to put it, other than on top of your car, The antenna wire is so thin, you can actually run ti between the seem of the trunk lid and rubber seals with out it getting pinched at all, then you run it along the underside of your trunk to a place where it can be hidden and under the carpets to the reciever from there. I did mine that way, only took me about 30 minutes to run it all. That will save you lots of headaches in the long run. If you want I can get pics of my antenna.

Read your manual. You can literally mount it using a small bit of velcro right in the center of your dash right next to the windshield. The antenna will still receive fine and also you are able to then hide the cord entirely using the back edge of the dash.
