Do any of you know anywhere i could get a cable to hook my portable mp3 player up to my headunit (through aux)? I have the JVC KD-SX780 headunit. Thanks

ok i don't have a JVC HU, but i think this is pretty much the same for all HU. so yea...i have a pioneer HU and there's no real aux cable for a mp3 player, so wut u gonna do it go to your local electronic or audio store. ask them if they carry a aux cable for JVC that has a rca input (female). Then you just go to radio shack or somewhere and buy an adapter that connects to your mp3 player that has a rca output (male). Connect the two RCA's and now u can play your mp3 player on ur HU.

you might want to look into this if the headunit has a changer port,
http://www.jvc.com/images/front/ksu-57_front.jpg

"The KS-U57 Line-in adapter allows the VCPs audio signal to be fed to a JVC CD or cassette receiver with CD Changer Control"

retails for $50

uh, i found out something else...

this is the description for your headunit
Power Output: 200W Max. (50W x 4)
CD-R/CD-RW Compatible
Front MP3 Input (AUX)
Keychain-Style Wireless Remote Control
Flip-Down Face
Rotary Encoder Multi-Control

it already has an input on the front panel!!!

if youre talking about a Y adapter, you can get them at any radio shack/best buy/circuit city.

it looks like this:

all that does is converts a RCA signal into a single plug, which would fit into the front jack on your deck.
