Rockford vs Kenwood AMPS???

I used to have the Kenwood Excelons in my car (301 or 501) running my Infinity component systems and 2 10" Punch Power DVC's. Honestly, they're okay but didn't get what I am expecting for the amps so I sold them on Ebay for $500. I bought 2 Phoenix gold amps(ZX600ti and ZX475) and 2 10" JL's to replace the old system. Just saving money for the custom made box. If i'm in your posistion I'll go for the Punch amp over the Kenwood or get Phoenix Gold

If i were to pick i wouldnt pick Rockford since they started sellin to best buy and Chain stores there quality of product has went throught the floor go with crossfire or jl they both are the ****

Yo just cause products sell at chain stores like BestBuy doesnt make the quality any less!! Rocks are great amps for bass amplification... but for there are better amps for the subtle mid's highs as another member said earlier...

As far as rockford amps being sold at best buy, take a look at the model numbers. I remember looking a couple years ago when 400a4's were out... best buy had them called 400aIV. Best buy has the "best deal" because some of the stuff they sell is SPECIFICALLY made for the company. I went to a stereo shop down in my town that bought out a couple boxed of these clarion head units i never saw in the catalog..
Why were they different?
They were made specifically for best buy. So next time u look at best buy watch out.
as far as a amp for your cabin speakers.. I do not suggest RF amps for they did make (maybe they do still?) only great sub amps IMO. What model MB quarts did you buy? I'm trying to see how much you're willing to spend on amps.. my opinion? Alpine, arc audio, phenix gold, and JL amps
