Default Got a protable screen/dvd player was wondering...

If it was possible to have the portable dvd player work with my cars stereo system so that when its playing it, it plays through the system itself instead of the built-in speakers. Is it at all possible, if so how can i do it? *My friend bought one a while ago and he got his to work with his system...i never did get the chance to ask however.*

Only way to do it is if the headunit itself has AUX input.

I dont remember the name.. but at radioshack they sell this thing that would plug into your dvd player units ear phone jack. and you turn your radio to a certain station and you could hear through your car whats playing or if you have a tape deck try using the cassette with the ear phone plug at the end. (pardon my lack of names, im forgetful)

your best bet would be to check if your head unit has aux input or cd changer input. the fm modulators dont sound too good
