wattage noob

alright lets say hypotheticaly.. I was running a multichannel amp that has 90x4 watts or whatever. And I plan on running it to the 2 from speakers but the are only 50 watts each... would it overload them?

so you are going to bridge the amp?

how are you going to hook it up to the amp?

   I've never done this before.. I've just been looking around on the internet, off and on, for about a month.
What you just said went :woooosh: right over my head.

you have an amp, 4chs. this means it has 4 sets of +/-.

you have 2 speakers. which means you will use 2 of those 4 sets.
if you do this. you will have no problem.

you CAN wire it differently and MAYBE get more power from the amp. but i suggest you do it the easy way.

he could bridge it but that would def blow the speakers (making it a x2 bridged)
