question about sound?
 
I have my power wire coming down on my driver side and my speaker and RCA on the other to my amp but there is still a sound in my speaker when im in stop and go traffic. what can i do?

check the ground wire....make sure the amp got a good ground.

if that doesnt do it, turn down the gain on the amp.

Also check your battery terminal and make sure your RCA connections are tight.

stay out of stop and go traffic:dunno: If all else fails, replace the rca's you have and see if that takes care of the problem.

any other mods you got running...ie foglights?

i would check the entire cableing from the battery to the amp then make sure the power is on the opposite side ofthe rca's and make sure you have a tight ground....good luck

98 accord coupe i4. i have the oem foglights, projector headlights, panasonic monitor and dvd player, dc header, aem intake, greddy catback, msd plug wires, ngk plugs, jvc amp and two 8" subs (small:( ) cd changer. the brain of the monitor is on the passenger side and there is RCA's going all over the place, i have monster RCA going to the dvd player(up to the deck) and to the jvc amp(to the truck) and one to the cd changer all on the right side(power is on the left side). so all the speaker wires go out from the amp, going back down the same side of the RCA's(two front speakers).

what is the sound? if its high pictched and kinda changed by RPM you have a bad ground.... if anything else it might be your RCAs are pickin up somethin
