brake system question

Default brake system question

i have a 03 accord and i wanna get a large rotors, does this also means that i would have to get new calipers, and would it matter besides looks, that i have slotted or drilled rotors in the front and have stock in the back. what are some good but not to expenseive brake systems. thanks

you can always start off w/ AEM's O.E. Caliper big brake kit for the front. last i checked, AEM's also working on a rear bbk as well for the new Accord.

reason i recommend AEM's O.E. kit at the moment for you is so that you shouldn't have to worry about clearance issues. (i'm assuming you have 16" or preferably 17" rims right now.)

spend the money to get better tires, will improve your stopping distances for sure over factory tires. unless of course you just want the big rotor look.

You can get brands such as Fast Brakes and AEM for a larger rotor, but it just uses the same stock caliper... seems pointless other than for aesthetics...
