Not sure on Accords, but it's fairly inexpensive and easy for Civic's...

Well worth it IMO. But, I would might as well swap out the motor along with a manual tranny to make it worthwhile.

might be more worthwhile to trade you auto for a manual, than to do the swap.

You will need manual tranny, ecu, shift linkage, shifter, clutch pedal assembly, clutch master and slave cylinder. Maybe axles. You will need more than that. It will probably be cheaper to sell and get a manual accord.

rather cheap and relatively easy, you'll need to do a little welding and such, it probably would be easier to do it with an h22 swap, or if you're not going to do that, just trade for a manual accord.

You don't have to get the manual ECU.

You wouid need a tranny, driver side axle, and jackshaft/intermediate shaft off a 5spd accord, clutch pedal assembly, brake pedal, Clutch Master cylindar, shifter and cables, clutch, flywheel, and the flywheel bolts, 5spd console(just where the shifter is) clutch hardlines.

What would he do with the down time of having no car after he sells it? Selling your car than finding a 5spd isn't a overnight procsess.

the swap with all the parts and the tranny costs about the same as the h22 does. if you're doing the labor and buying the parts yourself

Umm if he buys a h22, how would he get the transmission in if he spent that on the motor?

That is true.
