Spark Plug Wires
Okay, yesterday I'm ridin' along and I stop at a stop light. I go to take off and my car acts like it's gonna cut off. 1st gear, 2nd, and so on... It's like she's chokin' or somethin' right... Check engine light comes on.
I stop and pop the top and notice that my Spark Plug wire had popped off the distributor cap (sparks flyin' a lil, you know). So I just popped it back on and er'thing was fine. Took a while for the Check engine light to go off, but er'thing's cool.
Well, my questions are:
1. Any idea why that happened? (She's stock and I haven't done any recent work under the hood, especially with the dist. cap.
2. Do you think there was any damage done during the time I was basically runnin' on 3-cylinders that I need to have Honda look at? She's runnin' just fine now. I just thought that was just strange that my wire popped off. I'd never had that problem before.
2000 Accord LX 5 Speed 86K miles.
