99 accord power steering pump
Hey guys,
Got a 99 accord with vtech 4cyl with a leaking powersteering pump. I have worked on cars in the past (oil changes, other maintenance, etc) but am by no means a mechanic. I was thinking about changing this myself. It does not look difficult, easy to get to. My question is I have had the power steering fluid changed recently and do not want to change it with the pump install. Is that ok. I figure I will lose some flud so just fill up the reservior with the fluid that spilled. Any suggestions or things to look for when doing this job. I have a book. Looks like it is just remove the hose and clamp it. Unbolt the pump. Reverse and line the belt back up.
Thanks,
Brian
