Tranny Mount --- help please!
Ok, so my automatic tranny has been acting "off" for while. It almost spools up before it seems to catch and the car goes sometimes. Sometimes its feels like its slipping too, not terribly bad but kinda like if in a standard car you are taking off on a major downslope and you cant let the clutch fully engage. It also seems to downshift more noticably than any other automatic i have ever driven...i feel it shift down when im braking
also, i dont know if this has anything to do with it but sometimes when im shifting from drive to park or reverse or in any direction, the whole thing seems to stick, almost like something isnt lined up and if i give it a little more umph, it will shift
ok so my questions is, first...could it be a tranny mount be bad or off? im not really sure that our cars have tranny mounts. I think it may be this because recently a friend was having the same trouble signs with his car(different car) but he took it to a mechanic and he fixed the tranny mount, aligned it all and it was good to go
if it is, how would i diagnose it without taking it to a mechanic? visually what would a good mount look like?
any other solutions?
thanks

First have you checked the tranny fuild level... I have a 4th gen and if I over fill the tranny fuild all the things that are happening to you happen to me... so that is the first thing that I would check..

it was changed about a year ago when the first signs of this started to appear...it was changed again two months ago during the 90,000 miles service...both times by a dealership.
