My friend Dan is looking for a Honda and my buddy is selling his 93 Accord. Here's what it has:

$20000 (that's $20K) Stereo system with JL subs, mini disc and cd changers, tape deck, mb quatz speakers, caps, 2 batteries and full custom install
Stock Rims (has rims but my friend Dan can't afford them)
It's an Automatic too.

My buddy want 16000 for it. Should Dan buy it?

 

I don't know a ton about accords yet but coming from the mod scene on my old car I find the price for that car laughable. Mods are never worth much to new potential buyers. 1/2 at best and 20K in stereo equiptment sounds a bit fishy.

I mean come on... mods or not the car is about to be 10 model years old in a month or so.

still way too expensive. unless Dan likes EVERYTHING he sees, else Dan is better off getting another car.

 

rip off. just like audi2honda said, new buyers aren't going to pay more for a car that has a bunch of aftermarket sh!t. even though he may think that since he put all this money into the car that the car should be worth more, it actually works in the opposite way.

Also Dan is not me, I have a Civic and I would never sell her. He does like the car, he's waiting to get it rather badly. So I'm not sure.
