I have an automatic 4 door 96 accord and it has 135,000 miles on it. I am thinking of getting an accord Euro R motor with 6 speed trans. I was wondering will it be worth it. Will the switching from auto to manual be alot of money and will I be smoking other cars in the 1/4. thanks Justin

 

Well the motor swap will be worth it. I have never heard of the Euro-R moter comeing with a 6-speed tranny but im guessing you are going to spend about 4 grand on just the motor. The Euro-R H22 is the same thing as a H22 but with a different intake manifold and some internals and I think exhaust manifold. So this will pump out a little more HP. But the H22A which you can get for 1800-2100. Instead of buying the Euro-R motor you could buy this H22 for 2100(no more) and put that money into that motor and able to smoke a Euro-R. You can do a lot with Two grand into a motor.

So for your benifit get a normal H22 unless you are filthy rich.
