when i'm buying engine mods...

would i go with EX or LX?
i'm thinking probably LX because my engine is a SOHC non-VTEC
can anyone clarify this for me?
thanks

Yes go with LX. I have been told you can share the headers with LX's and EX's so you can buy EX header for your SE. But if your a non-vtec buy parts for LX or DX.

hmmm
i don't know if i can share headers
because if i could, why would they make DX/LX headers, and EX headers?

96JdmAccord Jul 2, 2003 11:18 AM

Thats what I thought but some people on another site i guess said you could if the gaskets fitted or something.

EX headers = 4-2-1
LX&DX headers= 4-1 I beileve?

A_D Jul 2, 2003 11:22 AM

i'm not even sure
i hope they make 4-2-1 lx headers :(
oh well, whatever.

hey kind of off topic question but i don't want to make another thread
if want some exhaust sound without having the can of bee's in the back, could i put in a bolt on resonator in my stock exhaust system and it'll give me a little extra flow and sound?
i just recently got an intake and the noticability in acceleration and the sound of it when it's at 6 grand is really addicting :D

the dx/lx/se have 2 o2 sensors whereas the ex has 1. that's why they are different aftermarket wise. the stock ex header is also better due to it's 4-2-1 design v. the 4-1 of the stock lx/dx/se.
