Default 5th Gen Exhaust

I was wondering if anyone has this exhaust or knows anyone who has this exhaust on their car. It's the RS-R ExMag GT II. I would like to know if it sounds nice, (Greddy, Apexi, 5Zigen...) or if it sounds ricey. Alos if anyone has any pics of it on a fifth gen Accord...also opinons wanted, Thanks Sonny

Here are a couple pics.....

I only have the Ex-Mag I, but I CAN tell you that I'm quite pleased with it, barely louder than stock before VTEC engagement, and a good roaring tone after 3200rpms. It doesn't sound like there's a hive of bees pissed off in my engine the way lots of Hondas tend to sound. I like the double pipe-in-pipe design of the muffler tip also.

RS*R is a good brand. up there with the leaders in exhausts. they're not that popular because they haven't been available in the US for awhile but i guess they're back.

gotta love the quality of the JDM RSR stuff.

just check their website. they list their dealers there:

that sure is a purty muffler.

your VTEC kicks in at 3200rpm? what else do you have done to your car? this might change the sound you get and the sound he will get...

RS*R is quality stuff though...i can't remember seeing a complaint about it on here, other than not being able to get it in the first place

I was pretty sure that the VTEC engagement point on the F22b1 is 3200rpms, can someone else confirm this? The only other thing I have done to the car is an intake, and I can vouch for the quality of RSR, a guy gave this exhaust to me for free, he used to tune his Accord, so I am assuming he had it before RSR left the USA a couple years back. It fit perfectly when I bolted it in, and it all feels sturdy even tho its used.

VTEC is not tire speed dependent it is rev dependent. Depending on who you ask it "kicks" in at 3200-3500 rpm.

I happen to have an rs*r on my 94 EX and I can assure you there is no change in sound at the crossover because of the exhaust.

Don't forget the VTEC on the accord is on the intake side of the equation, therefore you don't hear changes in exhaust note. You hears changes in the intake sound.

the rs*r is very close to stock if not quieter........
