Default Honda Touch Up Paint

Can you guys think of any particular reason my Honda touch up paint won't harden like it should and in the amount of time it should?? I think its about 8 or 9 years old now. . .is age an issue?

Well, that could very well be it, but there's also numerous factors such as ambient temperature, humidity, how well the paint was cleaned, etc. before application.

Honda still likely has touchup paint for your car available by order, even if the color is discontinued.

your paint hasnt dried in 8 or 9 years, wtf, mine dryed over night, lol. get new paint, goto autozone or something for it. and clean the area to be painted with rubbing alchohol before your put it on. and use a number 2 artists brush to apply it, or some tiny brush, not that bigass one they come with.

thanks man, i actually cleaned it and primed it tonight. I think the paint is probably still good, I'm not gonna try and deal with them trying to match the color. . . I didn't prime it the first time, im gonna hit it with a couple of coats of that, then it shouldnt come out so dark and it will go on thinner and dry easier. . .

a big chip on the hood, bout 3/8 of an inch by a quarter of an inch, its down to the bare metal. . .hence the need to prime it. . .
