Default 1999 Hond Accord v-tec 4 cylinder EGR

I have read about many problems with egr ports being clogged, but most of conversation seems to be around the 1999 v-6.

I have a 4 cylinder with 180K miles, dealer checked it out and wanted $526 to replace EGR and clean intake. I thought that was high even for a dealer, so I deferred and replaced egr myself and thought I cleaned the intake good enough. Now, cel came back after just driving it for an hour. My research is telling me the egr ports must be cleaned, but I can't get any specific info for how it should be done properly

i believe they have individual egr ports/holes that goes to each cylinder. they need to be cleared out. your code should be insufficient flow egr. not a circuit high or low. thats going to be electrical problem .
